The area is surrounded by rich history and landscapes. Enjoy swimming in the lake 10 minutes away at Chaillac, or watersports at Plage du Chambon (Eguzon) and Lac de Saint-Pardoux. With riverside walks at Argenton-sur-Cruese, and many cycling routes.  There is much to discover including one of France's most beautiful villages,  Gargilesse-Dampierre, home of writer Georges Sand.
